About Jamelle

Before Jamelle ever held a brush, he held his mother’s hand. She was an artist, and noticed that this miracle baby she birthed had a gift. She gave him the drawing techniques and direction that would shape his life forever. When she changed and life became chaotic and unsteady, a pencil and paper were one of the few threads that still connected them.

In the middle of that chaos, his faith became his source of hope, and art gave him purpose. Born with missing fingers, he learned early that a gift doesn’t depend on having every tool. Jamelle paints with the hands he was given, and every stroke is proof of what is possible. What began as a way to express himself and stay grounded grew into a calling, a talent he has devoted himself to ever since.

Today Jamelle paints iconic statues, animals, and flowers in oils and mixed media, subjects chosen for their strength, beauty, and symbolism. He finds the power already in each one and amplifies it with his own voice, building each painting from vivid underpaintings and layering bold color, light, and movement into work that is expressive, colorful, and elegant. For Jamelle, each painting is also a tribute to his purpose and a testimony to forgiveness, gratitude, and hope. Whatever you’ve walked through, you are valuable, powerful, unique, and called.
